Sunset Ranch is situated in the malaria free area between Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) and Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province of South Africa - a scenic 90 minute drive (170 km or 106 miles) from Pretoria.  

Getting here is really easy. We have included directions for both air and road.

Directions by Road.

Use the following directions to get to Sunset Ranch:

To get to Sunset Ranch from Gauteng follow the N1 north Highway to Pietersburg (Polokwane) and take the Warmbaths (Bela-Bela) turnoff. Turn left and drive to Warmbaths, now called Bela-Bela.

Go through the centre of Bela-Bela (Warmbaths) along Chris Hani drive, past the Aventura resort, until the traffic circle and turn left. This is New Rooiberg road - the R516 going to Rooiberg/Thabazimbi. Go past Mabula and Mabalingwe resorts.

Follow the R516 for 58,2 kilometres and turn left towards Assen. Follow the dirt road for 5,3 kilometres and turn left at the Sunset Ranch sign. Follow the road for 3,2 kilometres until you get to the Sunset Ranch main gate where peace and relaxation begins.

Directions by Air.

Sunset Ranch has it's own private landing strip with the following coordinates 24° 57 ' 50 " S & 027° 45 ' 07 " E. The landing strip is 1,100 metres long and 30 metres wide.Our landing strip is ideal for owners of light aircraft who would like to get out for the day. After the short flight from Lanceria airport, or any other airport, enjoy a game drive or a nice meal at our restaurant, and if you don't feel like flying home the same day .... feel free to stay over in one of our chalets.
